In 1963, Heinz Mack, Otto Piene and Günther Uecker planned a museum or "ZERO House" - as they orginally called it - for the city of Gelsenkirchen. Despite the support of the artist Ferdinand Spindel, the project never got beyond the initial planning stage.

The outdoor exhibition "ZERO op zee" (ZERO on Sea), which was planned to take place on Scheveningen Pier (The Hague), was eventually canceled. Instead, the artists exhibited their models and skeches at the Internationale Galerij Orez in The Hague in 1966.

The exhibition "nove tendencije" (New Tendencies) is organized by the artist Almir Mavignier. It is the first show of an exhibition series in Zagreb and offers an extensive survey of the various new trends of the European avant-garde.

The poster was designed by the Croatian artist Ivan Picelj.
